I LOVE what our United Methodist Center staff does with their annual conference center tours for the confirmation classes. Interactive and informative, these tours consist more of meeting people and hearing THEIR story, than in touring a physical plant.
Yesterday was the day our kids went for their tour. We have about 10 adults and 13 youth working towards membership... unfortunately, only 7 youth and 2 adults were able to travel down with me on this particular day. We did the tour, hit Cokesbury, and then stopped at Grove City Outlets where they all got to pick their own lunch and then they got to shop for an hour before heading home.
A special thanks to the staff at the UM Center and to Ken & Sandy Reiter for helping us pull this trip off! What a GREAT day!!!!
